We’ve all heard about the obesity epidemic, and many of us are willing to point fingers, but very few will actually look in the mirror. The reality, nearly two thirds of Americans are carrying excess weight. So what do you do about it? Yah, we know diet and exercise. But here’s a tip for those of us with the infamous gut. You know what I’m talking about, the spare tire around the middle. Situp exercises won’t melt belly fat (although they may tone stomach muscles). However, strength training with weights will. So if you’re serious about losing your gut, talk to a personal trainer and your doctor.
