Have you got the winter blues? During these dark, cold months, many choose to travel to tropical locations to get a dose of sun, but sometimes the jet lag can set you back for a few days. So here are a few tips for winter travelers or anyone hitting the skies. First, get plenty of sleep before you leave, eat well-balanced meals and exercise as much as you can on your trip. Melatonin may help with jet lag, but no one knows for sure how long it can be used safely. Be sure to tell your doctor if you plan to take melatonin or any other herbal or alternative medicines.
