Most likely, we’ve all tried a diet at some point in our lives. For many of us, we’re always on a diet. But it seems no matter how hard you try, one day you fall off that diet plan and you have to start all over again. Well, instead try these simple diet tips to help keep you on track. First, eat breakfast daily, don’t skip meals, savor every bite, but watch portion size and buddy up. Get a support system in place to help you with your plan. And finally, get active, make small changes and be realistic. It’ll never work if you set your sights too high.
Here’s an invite you don’t want to miss. St. John’s is holding its 3rd annual Matters of the Heart Forum, this Saturday, February 9th. We’ll have free health screenings as well as seminars and information on heart disease and heart related illnesses. Join us from 8:30-1:30 this Saturday. And be sure to check out our new program HeartAware. For more info about this year’s Matters of the Heart Forum, call St. John’s Referral One at 625-2000 or log onto stj.com.
