Heart Health : Reduce Risk
Reducing your risk for heart disease might seem overwhelming, but if you start out small, you will lessen your risk in no time. A yearly checkup is a good way to judge your health. If you schedule your exam around your birthday, you will be more likely to remember your visit. View your couch as your enemy. That’s right, if you spend at least 30 minutes a day exercising instead of lounging on the couch, you can begin shedding pounds and strengthening your heart. Another step to heart health is to stop smoking. If you find this hard, cut the number of cigarettes you smoke each day in half until you reach zero. Your heart will thank you.
