For many people, the cold clear days of winter bring more than just a rosy glow to the cheeks. They also bring uncomfortable dryness to the skin of the face, hands, and feet. If this is you, here’s one big tip for you. Find an "ointment" moisturizer that's oil-based, rather than water-based, as the oil will create a protective layer on the skin that retains more moisture than a cream or lotion. (Hint: Many lotions labeled as "night creams" are oil-based.)

If your new year’s resolution was to diet, you’re probably thinking, I can’t eat another tossed green salad for dinner again. So spice it up a bit. Try something different, like a mixed fruit salad. Cut up some honeydew melon, cantaloupe, and watermelon, then throw in some grapes, raisins and orange sections. Sprinkle with orange or lemon juice and voila…a new meal, that’s good for your heart! If you want to know more about your heart, think about this. You can get 5 tests for your heart for just $99. Our next session is set for January 25th from 8 to noon.
