If you like eating mushrooms, you’re going to love this. A new study shows that mushrooms have as many antioxidants as many vegetables. The common white button mushroom, portabella’s, shiitake and oyster mushrooms all showed to be good for you. And you don’t have to go for the expensive ones. The white button mushrooms -- the ones you might put on a nice, lean steak -- have more antioxidant capacity than tomatoes, green peppers, pumpkins, zucchini, carrots, or green beans.

You may have heard about the benefits of eating dairy -- from trimming your tummy to deterring diabetes. diabetesNow a new study shows eating low-fat dairy can lower blood pressure. Researchers aren’t sure whether calcium in dairy is the key ingredient to lower blood pressure. Instead, they say potassium and magnesium may be partly responsible for the results.
