Heart Health : Blood Glucose & Blood Pressure
One in three adults has high blood pressure. What’s worse is that high blood pressure has no real symptoms, so many people never know they have it. That’s why it’s important to know your blood pressure readings. High blood pressure can cause damage to vital organs like your heart and kidneys. It’s a good idea to have regular checks of your blood pressure because it tends to increase as we age. If you don’t know your blood pressure and would like to have it checked, now’s your chance. St. John’s Health Connection will offer an opportunity for you to have your blood pressure AND blood glucose checked at no cost. We’ll be at the Carl Junction Community Center on June 4th from 10 to 11:30 am. To learn more about the free screening, call St. John’s Referral One at 625.2000 or visit our online events calendar at stj.com.
When it matters most, think St. John’s.
