Home Health : Heat & Blood Pressure
High blood pressure can cause problems at any time of the year. But, this time of year when the outdoor temperature reaches or is above the 100 degree mark, people with high blood pressure can experience more trouble. Being overheated can increase blood pressure. St. John’s Health Connection will offer a health fair at the Webb City Community Center tomorrow from 9 am – 11 am. Get in out of the heat and take advantage of free screenings like bone density, blood pressure, body fat composition, O2 saturation and blood sugar. Cholesterol screenings will be available for $5. Registration and fasting are required for the cholesterol screening so be sure to call to make your appointment today. We’ll also offer a free health talk on diabetes beginning at 11:15. For more information or to learn more about the health screening, call St. John’s Referral One at 625.2000 or log on to stj.com.
When it matters most, think St. John’s.
