It’s that time of year, everywhere you look you see the cute girls dressed in green selling those famous Girl Scout cookies. Well, for all of you out there who just can’t resist, here’s some good news. All of the cookies this year are "trans fat free", or atleast they are according to FDA guidelines. And in case you wondered how the rest of the country feels about Girl Scout Cookies, Thin Mints are one of their biggest sellers with 25% of the sales, then comes the Samoas and Tagalongs.Wonder which ones have the lowest caloric bang for your four bucks? The winner, the Do-Si-Dos with 110 calories for 2 cookies. Then comes the Sugar Free cookie and All abouts at 130 calories for 4 cookies. And finally, some more good news, all the rest of the cookies have 150 calories per 1-ounce serving, yes... even the Samoas. The trick is to keep in mind moderation.
