St. John's Health MinuteThere’s no question that a handful of nuts or a piece of fruit are healthy snacks, but they might not always be the best choice for weight loss. A new study found that when people have an item they consider a meal food like thick slices of turkey, they eat less afterward than those who snack on things like chips, crackers or popcorn. So in order to cut down on overeating, try some of these options: half of a peanut butter and jelly sandwich or tuna salad on crackers.
