According to the American Diabetes Association, if current trends continue, one in three children born today will face a future with diabetes. What’s more is, diabetes is the leading cause of other illnesses like heart disease, stroke, kidney disease and circulatory problems. Proper management of diabetes is essential to maintaining overall health. But, sometimes it’s difficult to know just how to manage the disease.
