If you’re like many women, you drink a whopping 860 calories a day. And if you dropped just one of those calorie-packed beverages, you could lose 5 or 10 pounds in a year. That’s why scientists have created daily beverage guidelines, which say no more than 10 percent of your daily calories should come from beverages—half of what’s typical for adults. So are you craving a caramel frappuccino? That’s about all the calories you should get from beverages and then some, coming in at about 700. So if you splurge on that craving you’ll have to drink only water the rest of the day, and the next day, too.
Here’s an invitation to enjoy some refreshments and see what St. John’s has to offer. It’s another milestone in our legacy of care as we expand our services. You are invited to attend St. John’s Workpartners and Therapy Center Open House set for this next Tuesday, October 17th from 4:30 - 7:00 p.m. The new facility is located at 4500 E. 32nd Street in Joplin, across from CFI.
