October is just about over, so we take this time to remind you of an important health update. Breast cancer is the No. 2 cause of cancer death for American women, but two important things are changing that. Screening and Treatment. Screening can flag breast cancer at an earlier, more survivable stage. And the treatment options out there are increasing. So do yourself a favor, and call to schedule your mammogram today.
With the cooler weather settling in, the flu will be here before you know it. And now is the time to protect yourself. St. John’s is here to help with our annual drive-by flu shots. So mark it on your calendar now. It’ll all take place tomorrow, October 30th on St. John’s blvd, on our campus, starting at 7 am. The cost is just $10. And for more information about all of our upcoming events, call St. John’s Referral One at 625-2000 or log onto stj.com.
